This educational video describes a standard technique for a laparoscopic cholecystectomy using a Veress needle technique, one 12 mm port and 3, 5 mm trocars. This particular case was performed in a 29 years old gentleman with cholelithiasis and a previous episode of acute cholecystitis that required hospitalisation and conservative treatment with IV antibiotics.
